Eagle `SIR` I-beam connecting rods are forged from SAE 5140 steel and utilize 3/8 Inch ARP 8740 cap screw style bolts with alignment sleeves for precise cap location. Sets are weight matched to +/- 2 Gram. Sizing is performed on CNC equipment. Eagle small block I-beam rods are also clearance for use in a 383 application for any camshaft so additional clearance is not needed. These are the perfect choice for engines up to 500 Horsepower.
