Description
JKS Shock Adapters convert the OE upper front shock mounts to accommodate professional off-road racing shock absorbers. They bolt to the original shock mounts using massive 7/8 Inch threaded studs and locking nuts. Traditional shock mounting bolts accommodate the 1/2 Inch or 12 Millimeter Inner Diameter spherical bearings utilized by manufacturers like Bilstein, Sway-A-Way and Fox. The new bolts are relocated 1.10 Inch lower in the wheel opening, providing convenient access to the much stronger, double-shear mounting configuration. Finally, unique conical spacers made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy are supplied for rattle-free fit and unrestricted operation.
